Even Dead Head Monte would have to agree that this is the best version of Sugaree in existence. Now only if we could get some vault releases of these fine shows.

I gave it a thorough listen and I cannot say it is the best one ever, that title remains to one of 3 Dead versions, 10-17-1983, 09-02-1980 or 07-19-1989...because it's an A plus for effort but a B plus in technical execution...reminds me alot of 03-25-1985 Springfield...check that one out and see what you think, it's a bastard cousin version

3-25-85 has always been my favorite GD version. I guess I like the hyper smacked out versions the best.

it's a damn fine Sugaree for sure, but the whole show is quite good, thanks for prompting me to pull it out of the archive and give it a re-listen; the Harder They Come is fantastic ... but i'm biased when it comes to HTC

So what's the best HTC? 3-7-82? 5-31-83? Or do you prefer the slower versions?

i'm awful when it comes to favourite versions, maybe i should keep a list, but i know one version that i really enjoy is 2/9/74 ... and as a general rule, i know those '74 versions are ones i prefer, although later years can be quite outstanding for sure
